I must tell you that I am absolutely
ecstatic with the results that I have been achieving with the linear
phase EQ’s. Mastering is a very delicate process where the mastering
engineer faces the challenge of compromising in order to achieve
the best balance between the original recording and the mastered
version. Both Red and Orange EQ’s have absolutely replaced every
other EQ that I own and have given me the ability and freedom to
perform challenging frequency adjustment tasks in every project
that I master no matter how challenging or what genre it is. They
are extremely transparent and musical enabling me to deliver excellent
results in the most demanding projects including High Resolution
ones. Their ability to resolve with accuracy, clarity and musicality,
frequency ranges in complex music passages is astonishing, allowing
the mastering engineer to focus on the project and forget the artefacts
that are usually associated with this kind of processors. Their
performance in Sequoia V8.1 in complex projects and in different
sections of the program (object, track, master section) is remarkable.

Having the hardware Weiss Linear
Phase EQ1 Mk2 as the reference, I've never expected to hear any
other product, especially a software PlugIn, playing in the same
league, but the LinearPhase PEQ Orange became to be an indispensable
complement tool in our mastering suite.

I used it as the final touch-up
EQ for this one (and also for the revival of Leonard Bernstein's
"Wonderful Town") and the sound is fantastic!

...The Algorithmix PEQ red/orange
plug-ins totally rock and either equal or surpass many top hardware
units. Those plug-ins will take you all the way there, my friend.
My Massive Passive has been sitting on the sidelines as 2nd string
since getting the PEQs. It loses every time when I compare it to
the PEQs on the same material. Plus, they are an incredible bargain
since the number you use is only limited by you machine's horsepower.

With Red and Orange Linear-Phase
Equalizers Algorithmix has created two stunning Software EQs convincing
with extremely high precision and superb sound results. Especially
in the high and the low end, the Algorithmix duo easily surpasses
its competitors with accuracy and transparency one can easily hear.
Algorithmix Red and Orange are our tools of choice, especially
for difficult eq'ing tasks: The equalized signal sounds open,
musical and transparent, never over-processed.
In our opinion, these plug-ins set a new benchmark in the field
of digital sound equalization. Period.
