I began work this evening on
a remastering of some recordings of Gene Kelly, the famous movie
star of the 40's and 50's. I took the opportunity to install and
activate the ScratchFree and all I can say is wow! It works
great and sounds great. The opening preset was perfect as is.

This afternoon my wife walked
into the office and asked, "What's wrong?" Pushing the Sennheisers
back from my ears, I asked her why she thought something was wrong.
"Because you're sitting there looking like a fish - your eyes are
popped out, you're staring at the screen, and your mouth has dropped
open. And by the way, you're not drinking your beer."
This was the horrifying effect of trying out the ScratchFree™ Pro
with the settings you had suggested - it made me forget that I had
a beer. I have been trying out lots of different files, using different
settings, and I can say right now that there is no software that
I've used that can come anywhere near what the ScratchFree can do when it is correctly set up. It is amazing!
What really got me was where there is a click on one channel only
- the ScratchFree was correcting it with a waveform that looked
almost exactly the same as the 'true' version on the other channel.
I've never seen that before. At first I thought it must be making
a copy of the other channel!
