I've been having excellent success
with Algorithmix NoiseFree PlugIn. This is a world-class noise
reduction PlugIn. So far I've cleaned up two projects with this
PlugIn. In this latest project, I've done careful A/B comparisons
against two other products I used to use before and HANDS DOWN the
Algorithmix is worlds more transparent than either of the other
two. Transparent in the sense that the resultant product has great
sonic integrity and if the sound is degraded, is in the tiniest
portion of a percentage that is only audible in the finest of acoustically-designed
mastering rooms.
The noise that I have been reducing is subtle, low level, hum and buzz in a very high-quality new jazz recording at 24 bits/48 kHz, that had been recorded in a studio where the assistant told the engineer that the buzz was only in the monitoring and in the two-day mixdown no one had a chance to check it. But the results with the Algorithmix are so excellent that it is clearly audiophile-quality.
I will speak praise about the Algorithmix algorithms every chance I get and certainly give them a good mention in my second edition of my book.

We have been using a few
of the very best denoising systems available today, but this product
has proven itself to be the most effective and best sounding in
our collection.
... I can tell you that I am
one of those purist that does not believe in any type of processing
because most of the time I can hear artifacts in the sound. I record
mostly live Classical acoustic music and I try to get the best sound
when recording. However, there are times when doing a live recording
that there are interfering sounds and low pitched rumble. I recorded
a solo violin in a large hall that was perfect except for the sound
of the air conditioner running in the background. When I used NoiseFree
to clean it up I was SHOCKED. It removed about 90% of the rumble
without introducing any artifacts. Absolutely amazing! In my opinion
it is totally worth every penny.
